Great to meet you!

I am a body psychotherapist offering play-based therapy for children and their families. My work is grounded in child-centered and synergetic approaches and informed by somatic psychology, with an emphasis on nervous system regulation and relational safety.

I support children with anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, school and social stress, and big or aggressive behaviors such as hitting, kicking, and long-lasting meltdowns. I collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to deepen understanding of their child, strengthen connection, and support meaningful change beyond the therapy room.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, play-based, and nervous-system–informed. I view behavior as communication and work to understand what a child’s nervous system is expressing rather than focusing on symptoms alone.

In sessions, children are invited to engage through play, movement, creativity, and relationship at their own pace. I prioritize safety, attunement, and regulation, and gradually help children build awareness, emotional expression, and coping skills.

I also integrate parent collaboration as an essential part of the work. Supporting caregivers in understanding their child’s needs and nervous system helps extend the therapy beyond the playroom and into everyday life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on creating safety, trust, and connection. For children, this often looks like getting familiar with the playroom, exploring freely, and beginning to build a relationship with me through play rather than pressure to talk.

For parents, the first session may include gathering background information, discussing goals, and identifying what feels most challenging right now. Early goals are typically centered on helping the child feel safe and understood, increasing regulation, and supporting parents in feeling more confident and connected in their relationship with their child.

Overall, clients can expect a warm, playful, and nonjudgmental environment where children are met exactly where they are and supported in growing at their own pace.
