Great to meet you!

I am a nonbinary therapist working in the state of Wisconsin. I graduated with my Masters in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2018 and have been working in the field in a variety of settings ever since.

My specialty is in trauma and PTSD; I am trained in EMDR and CPT, as well as using other styles and modalities to help heal trauma rather than just working to reduce symptoms. My other specialty area is in working with gender diverse individuals, helping individuals explore gender identity, reduce gender dysphoria, and accessing further gender affirming care. I also enjoy working with clients on managing anxiety, depression, self harm, neurodiversity, and self compassion.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. While I have professional knowledge and experience in working with a variety of struggles, you are the expert on your own life. There is no "one size fits all" approach that works - we will be working together to identify your goals and strategies that work for you.

I draw from a variety of styles and modalities to find the approach that will be a good fit for your needs. I frequently utilize EMDR, CPT, ACT, IFS, mindfulness, somatic processing, and other artistic expression in my sessions.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, my focus is on both of us getting to know each other better to determine how I can best help you achieve your goals. While I will be asking a lot of questions to gather more information about you, your experiences, and your goals, I strive to make the session feel more conversational rather than an interrogation. Questions are also always welcome throughout our time together!
