Great to meet you!

I work with teenagers and adults who are ready to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you recognize your strengths, process difficult experiences, and move toward the life you want.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I’m trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and frequently incorporate evidence-based approaches to help clients improve emotional regulation, manage stress, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach in order to meet the client where they are and provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere to process thoughts, emotions, trauma, and learn to cope with life’s challenges. As someone who grew up in rural Missouri, I understand the value of genuine connection and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. .

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make your first session feel comfortable and welcoming. During our first appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your goals and what you hope to gain from the process.

There’s no pressure to share everything right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll answer any questions you have, explain what therapy with me looks like, and together we’ll develop a plan that fits your unique needs. My hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
