Great to meet you!

I am a dual-board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over three years of experience. Because of my own personal mental health journey, I deeply understand how frustrating it can be to finally work up the courage to ask for help — only to walk away feeling unheard, invalidated, or dismissed. Repeating your story to every new provider and therapist is exhausting, and you deserve better than that. My goal is for this to be the last time you ever have to start over.

If any of this resonates with you, you’re not alone—and your mental health experience deserves more care and attention. I offer medication management, with the option to include therapy in the same session, so your care feels more connected, effective, and less repetitive. My approach is to take the time to listen to your concerns and experience, understand your goals, and build a working relationship that supports your long-term well-being.

I take a collaborative and individualized approach to care, integrating medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle-based strategies to promote sustainable change and long-term mental well-being. I am dedicated to building genuine therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, honesty, empowerment, and positivity, ensuring patients feel supported, heard, and actively involved in their care.

Please note: I do not offer therapy alone due to the high demand for patients who require both services.

My approach to therapy

I take a whole-person approach to care, looking beyond symptoms to understand your life, relationships, support system, work, stress, and daily habits. This helps us choose treatments that feel realistic and meaningful for you.

I see our work as a team effort with shared goals, where safety, trust, and clear boundaries are always a priority. I enjoy using brain-based and therapeutic strategies during sessions to support progress, always including options that don’t always require medication. When medication is part of your care, I’ll guide you through the process and make sure you feel informed and supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll take time to talk through your mental health concerns and complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll also discuss your boundaries, goals, and any questions or concerns you may have.

My goal is to understand what you’re hoping to achieve and how I can best support you—whether it's through talk therapy, medication, or a combination of both. This first visit is also your opportunity to ask me questions about my background and approach, so we can decide together if we’re a good fit to work as a team.
