Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Katie, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I am so glad you are here. For more than seven years, I've had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life's challenges. My specialty areas include supporting parents as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood, working with children and the adults who love and support them, and helping individuals manage anxiety, ADHD, depression, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to counseling, tailoring therapy to each individual's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, or emotional overwhelm, I work alongside you to build practical coping skills, foster resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. I value partnering with parents and caregivers to support children's growth both in and outside of therapy . Additionally, I have training on the child-parent relationship to utilize when working with adults or children. I have specialized training in play therapy, allowing me to meet children where they are developmentally and help them express emotions, process difficult experiences, and build healthy coping skills.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients of all ages feel heard, understood, and empowered. In the first session we’ll spend time getting to know you, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying the challenges, goals, and strengths that will guide our work together.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, and what you hope to gain from counseling. We’ll also talk about what therapy may look like moving forward and begin identifying strategies and tools that support your growth and well-being.

Seeking support takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families as they move toward healing and living more fulfilling lives.
