Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner working with individuals to manage their mental health in order to live their lives as the best version of themselves. I received my undergraduate degree at Trinity college in neuroscience and then went on to nursing school at Regis College where I also completed my masters. I completed a NP fellowship at a VA hospital where I focused on primary care behavioral health, smoking cessation, chronic pain, and first episode psychosis. Since then I have been working in outpatient mental health care for over 9 years. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma and women's mental health (including planning for pregnancy, pregnancy, and the postpartum period).

My approach to therapy

My style blends a holistic, person-centered approach with evidence based guidelines. I have found that mental health treatment works best when we look at the whole person including mind, body, lifestyle, and environment. I like to take the time to get to know you — your background, your strengths, your stressors, and your goals — to really understand what you’re going through in order to develop a plan that truly fits your life. We will discuss if medication may be the missing piece that can help you move forward. Together, we’ll partner to create a thoughtful plan centered around achieving your goals and being the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

You won’t get pressure, judgment, or a one-size-fits-all approach. I am down-to-earth and I strive to make each session a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I genuinely care about helping people feel better and live their best life. My hope is that our work together will help you gain a greater sense of control in your life.
