Great to meet you!

Hi! Kate Rinehart (LISW-S, LICDC) here! So glad our paths have crossed! Over the past 14 years of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside people from all walks of life. I truly value the opportunity to tailor my approach to individualized needs of my clients as we navigate their healing journey together.

I’m trained in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, specializing in trauma, CT-CBT, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. As a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (based on Brené Brown’s research), I focus on helping individuals overcome shame and guilt, empowering them to lead more authentic and fulfilling lives.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a trauma therapist, I prioritize building authentic, trusting relationships with clients to support their healing. Through active listening, exploring values, identity development, self-compassion, spiritual growth/healing and examining how experiences shape our lives, I enjoy collaborating with clients to uncover and navigate the themes that impact their well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

Throughout my years as a therapist, I’ve also developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of joy, gratitude, self-compassion & laughter. Even in life’s darkest moments, these elements can spark healing & freedom from what limits us most. Healing is a dynamic and ongoing walk. I look forward to working with you!
