I am a licensed professional counselor and I have been practicing for over 10 years. I believe that everyone's mental health is important and finding an open, judgment-free space to discuss your challenges is of the utmost importance. My goals is to provide such a space for my clients and work with them to achieve their goals. In addition to general mental health problems, I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing difficulties with problematic/unhealthy sexual behaviors. My goal is to provide the best care possible and, therefore, I adapt my therapeutic approach to best fit the need of my clients. I believe that to enact change in our lives, understanding the impact that our thoughts and emotions have on our behaviors is vital. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) mindfulness practices and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to establish a strong rapport with each of my clients so that we can work together to build healthy practices.

During your first session, you will have an opportunity to share your story and discuss whatever difficulties you are experiencing. We will also work together to identify the specific goals that you hope to achieve. I strive to provide a safe space where you will feel comfortable and secure. We will also talk about what therapy looks like moving forward and make sure that it fits your specific needs.
