Great to meet you!

Kaitlyn is a passionate, attuned, liberation-oriented clinician and lifelong artist who brings a creative spirit to counseling whether through art-making in session or supporting clients to experiment with new ways of thinking and feeling. They are queer, trans, chronically ill, and neurodivergent and their lived experience informs their practice. Working from a lens of integrative trauma treatment, they utilize parts work, polyvagal practices, somatic informed practices, and mindfulness skills.

My approach to therapy

The settings/areas of specialty Kaitlyn has worked in include trauma, mood disorders, neurodivergence, chronic illness and disability, and learning, intellectual, and developmental disability. They support adolescents, young and older adults, LGBTQIA+, and those navigating the often overwhelming process of medical transition. Kaitlyn is passionately neurodiversity-affirming, as well as kink and polyamory-affirming.

What you can expect from me

Kaitlyn views the therapeutic relationship as highly collaborative and challenges traditional therapy hierarchies by cultivating cooperative working relationships with those they support. Kaitlyn brings knowledge, experience, training, compassion, curiosity, empathy, and attunement, among other qualities, to the counseling relationship. The client brings insight from lived experience. Together, we grow.
