Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! My name is Kait, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth.

I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and my professional background includes working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in various settings. Throughout my career, I have been committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. My approach integrates many treatment modalities, including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and create lasting positive change.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. I look forward to partnering with you as you work toward greater well-being and personal fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I work closely with each client to develop an approach that fits their unique needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we explore and process the challenges that may be impacting their well-being while identifying practical tools and coping strategies to support growth and healing. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they have the opportunity to share their concerns, experiences, and goals for therapy. The initial session is focused on getting to know each client as an individual, understanding the challenges they are facing, and exploring what they hope to achieve through the therapeutic process.

Together, we will discuss relevant background information, identify areas of concern, and begin developing a plan tailored to the client's unique needs and goals. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood while establishing a collaborative foundation for our work together. By the end of the session, clients can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapy process, initial treatment goals, and the next steps toward creating meaningful and lasting change.
