Great to meet you!

Maybe you have been holding things together for a long time, but lately it feels like the anxiety, stress, or emotions you are carrying are becoming harder to manage. You may feel overwhelmed by racing thoughts, disconnected from yourself because of depression, frustrated by patterns you cannot seem to change, or affected by experiences from your past that continue to show up in the present. I work with adults, adolescents, children, and toddlers experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress management, and trauma. These concerns can also overlap with bipolar disorder, especially when changes in mood, energy, or emotions make everyday life and relationships more difficult to navigate. You deserve a space where you can understand what is happening beneath the surface without feeling judged or rushed. Together, we can make sense of what you are experiencing, strengthen the skills you already have, and help you feel more confident navigating life moving forward.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both what you are experiencing today and the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences that may be contributing to how you feel. We’ll explore how anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress management, and trauma may be affecting your emotional wellbeing and your ability to feel grounded and in control. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and practice healthier ways of responding, Motivational Interviewing to help you explore change at your own pace and strengthen your confidence in the choices you want to make, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to identify strengths, resources, and practical steps that can help you move toward your goals. Together, we will focus on understanding what is getting in the way while also building strategies you can use outside of therapy. Our sessions will be collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your needs, giving you room to process difficult experiences while creating meaningful changes that feel realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to know exactly where to begin or have the right words for what you are experiencing. During our first few sessions, we will spend time getting to know you, understanding what has been happening in your life, and identifying what you would most like to feel different. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and realistic, while deciding which concerns need our attention first. You can expect me to listen with empathy, ask thoughtful questions, and create a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged. Progress may look like feeling less controlled by anxiety, finding strategies that make ADHD easier to navigate, feeling more connected and motivated when depression is present, managing stress with greater confidence, or processing trauma so that past experiences have less influence over your present. We will continue checking in on your goals and adjust our work based on what is helping you most. When you are ready, you can schedule your first session with me through Headway.
