Great to meet you!

I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families who are navigating big emotions, behavioral challenges, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Many caregivers and individuals come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, unsure how to move forward, or worried about emotional or behavioral responses that feel difficult to manage.

I provide a warm, trauma-informed approach that supports children and adolescents in expressing and regulating their emotions while helping caregivers develop effective, compassionate strategies to support their child’s needs. For teens and young adults, therapy focuses on building insight, coping skills, emotional regulation, and confidence.

My goal is to create a calm, welcoming space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they explore their experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop skills that promote long-term emotional health and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I use a trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate approach tailored to each client's needs. Therapy may include play-based and expressive interventions for children, and talk therapy and skill-building for teens and young adults. Caregiver and family involvement is included when appropriate to support long-term growth and emotional health.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I strive to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can begin sharing your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We will review important information such as confidentiality, practice policies, and what to expect from the therapeutic process. I will also complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to gain a holistic understanding of your current concerns, strengths, relationships, history, and goals. This helps us identify the factors contributing to your current challenges and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of the next steps in therapy.
