Great to meet you!

I graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Minnesota and Colorado, with a certification in trauma and a goal to become a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. I am passionate about supporting those living with eating disorders, chronic illness, and trauma (especially if they intertwine).

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a relational, strengths-based approach in sessions. I also incorporate motivational interviewing, acceptance, and mindfulness techniques regularly into sessions. When working with eating disorders/disordered eating, I use a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach as we work together to find new coping skills.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to provide a comfortable environment where everyone can explore traumas, create coping skills, and gain self-confidence. It is within a safe, comforting environment that people have the potential to create meaningful change in their lives.
