Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Kaitlynn, and I am an experienced mental health counselor with over five years of dynamic experience! With a robust background in community behavioral health and private agency work, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. I am passionate about empowering young adults, adults, and those navigating neurodivergency, chronic illness, trauma, and relationship struggles. If you are someone that has struggled to connect with other therapists in the past, give me a try. I have worked successfully in the past with many clients that have struggled to connect with other therapists or therapy at all. When I'm not helping others, I love immersing myself in a good book, mostly romance, baking delicious gluten-free treats, and unleashing my creativity with Legos, ask me about my most recent build :). Ice skating and cheering on my favorite hockey team are also among my favorite pastimes! I share my home with three adorable and chaotic cats who add joy, comfort and mischief to my life. With my friendly personality and vast knowledge, I am truly focused on helping my clients not just cope but truly thrive! I would love to be a part of your journey!

My approach to therapy

As an eclectic therapist and an ADHD girlie myself, I skillfully integrate various modalities such as DBT, EMDR, solutions-focused therapy, and narrative therapy, ensuring a personalized approach for each client. I thrive on creating a warm and inviting space where clients can express their thoughts and feelings freely. I truly believe in the potential for healing and growth in everyone I work with and am dedicated to being a guiding light on their journey.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me looks like both of us getting to know each other and getting comfortable with each other. My process focuses on building connection and relationship to foster healing. I also explore the issues bringing you to therapy and possible goals to achieve.
