Great to meet you!

I don’t believe there are “bad” parts of you. Everything you do, even the things that feel confusing or frustrating, usually has a purpose, often tied to getting your needs met. I’ve worked with people navigating really tough situations, including those in the criminal legal system, and that’s taught me how resilient people can be when given the chance to be understood. In therapy, we’ll ask big questions together: Who are you, really? Who do you want to become? My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore those questions and move toward your most authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in therapy focused around identity, distressing symptoms, and trauma. Oftentimes, the most effective kinds of modalities include parts work/internal family systems, ACT, and trauma treatment, such as EMDR. However, I am open to learning or exploring other evidence-based treatment modalities to best fit your needs.

What you can expect from me

My commitment to the individuals I work with is to be curious and compassionate about each individual experience. Your goals are uniquely yours, and my hope is that you walk about from therapy feeling closer to who you are and who you want to be.
