Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed mental health counselor with a deep passion for helping people feel seen, heard, and empowered. My path into this work is rooted in both personal and professional experience—growing up navigating multiple cultural identities and later becoming a therapist taught me just how important it is to have a space where you can show up fully as yourself.

I earned my Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling and have worked with individuals navigating a wide range of issues including anxiety, trauma, addiction, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. I have a particular focus on supporting Black and Brown clients, first-generation individuals, and those impacted by intergenerational trauma, microaggressions, or the challenges of navigating spaces where they often feel “othered” or like they don't belong.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I draw from evidence-based practices like acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, but tailor our work to your specific needs and pace. Therapy with me is a space where your story matters—and where we can explore it safely, without judgment. I show up as a real person in the room with you, bringing compassion, humor, curiosity, and challenge when needed.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel more connected to your own voice, values, and inner strength. Together, we’ll work to untangle the patterns that are no longer serving you, heal what needs healing, and build tools for navigating life with more confidence and clarity. You don’t have to carry it all alone. Therapy can be tough at times, but so are you—and you deserve a space that honors your full humanity.
