Great to meet you!

As a licensed psychotherapist in New York and New Jersey, I offer a direct, no-nonsense approach for individuals and couples navigating complex, heavy, or long-standing symptoms. Using a focused, psychodynamic lens, we will get straight to the root, connect your history to your current patterns, and build a predictable life you can actually look forward to.

Let's rewrite your patterns.

(Sessions are offered in both English or Swedish.)

My approach to therapy

My approach is active, collaborative, and deeply insight-oriented. I am not a passive observer in your therapy; I am fully engaged in the room with you. This means I will ask sharp, inquisitive questions and gently challenge old, unhelpful perspectives to help you bring your blind spots into focus and understand the "why" behind your behaviors.

My practice is strictly focused on advanced psychiatric and relational care, specializing in severe mental illness, personality disorders, and complex couples therapy. These challenging areas require a steady, grounded framework, not surface-level coping skills. Whether we are managing a heavy clinical diagnosis or untangling long-standing relationship patterns, my goal is to help you build real, predictable stability.

What you can expect from me

Our first step is a dedicated 55-minute intake session, designed to be an active, collaborative deep dive rather than a clinical checklist. Because my approach relies on connecting your history to current behaviors, we will begin mapping out your psychiatric background, relationship dynamics, and current stressors to clearly understand the root of your struggles.

Therapy is a collaborative partnership, and I encourage you to bring your own questions about how we will work together. By the end of our first hour, you won’t just walk away having vented—you will leave with a clear sense of our therapeutic roadmap and how we will actively begin building the predictability and stability you need.
