Great to meet you!
Hello, I'm a Black American Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience in community-based social work and social work education. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University with a concentration in Mental Health, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate in social work.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who are displaced and those living with chronic and severe mental illness. As a clinician, I specialize in supporting clients through developmental transitions, life changes, and relationship challenges. I also work with individuals navigating the complexities of living with a mental health diagnosis.
My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and collaboration. I aim to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing and growth.
