My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based. I believe in treating the whole person—mind and body—while creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and understood. With a background in both family medicine and psychiatric-mental health, I integrate my medical and mental health expertise to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each individual’s unique needs and goals. I’m especially passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and ensuring that every patient feels respected, valued, and empowered throughout their care journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where they feel safe to share their concerns and experiences. During our sessions, we’ll work together to identify what’s most important to you—whether it's managing anxiety, depression, or addiction—and develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals. You can expect practical, evidence-based strategies, support with medication if needed, and a strong emphasis on therapy and emotional well-being. Ultimately, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and more in control of your mental health journey.
