Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep passion for helping people explore and understand the experiences that shape their lives. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which emphasizes exploring the unconscious processes, past experiences, and relational patterns that influence how we think, feel, and behave today. I believe that by gaining insight into these underlying dynamics, we can uncover the motivations behind our actions, understand recurring patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.

In my work, I focus on understanding you as a whole person, not just the challenges or symptoms that bring you into therapy. I pay attention to how your past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns may be shaping your current behaviors and emotional responses. By exploring these influences, we can identify underlying conflicts, unresolved emotions, and core beliefs that may be affecting your well-being. This process allows for a deeper level of self-awareness and helps create space for healthier ways of coping and relating to others.

I also consider the broader systems that play a role in your life. We are all shaped by the people and environments around us. Understanding how these systems interact with your personal experiences allows me to guide you in identifying patterns that may be getting in your way, supporting you in resolving inner conflicts, and strengthening your relationships.

My approach to therapy

I aim to create a safe and attuned space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Therapy should be a space for curiosity, growth, and connection, and I aim to help you feel understood and supported throughout the process.

I draw on psychodynamic principles alongside humanistic and systems-informed perspectives to tailor therapy to your unique experiences and goals. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or a desire for personal growth, my work is guided by the belief that meaningful insight and self-understanding are at the heart of lasting change. Together, we can explore your experiences, understand the patterns that influence your life, and create pathways toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to feel seen, heard, and supported. My experience has reinforced my belief that a sense of safety and attunement is essential for our work together, one that allows for vulnerability and honest conversation. Without this foundation, it can be difficult to access or acknowledge the parts of yourself we’re hoping to better understand.

By creating this supportive environment, I’m also able to challenge you when it’s helpful, encouraging reflection and growth in ways that feel manageable and meaningful. This foundation allows us to engage in work that is both thoughtful and transformative, tailored to your unique needs.

I’m here to support you through this journey with care and expertise. My goal is to help you navigate life’s ups and downs, deepen self-understanding, and feel more grounded and balanced as you walk through this life.
