Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kalindi Malcom, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges. My approach is grounded in the belief that understanding the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and lived experiences—is essential to meaningful healing.

I specialize in working with adults and teens navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. My clinical interests include EMDR, attachment, and somatic approaches to healing.

I strive to create a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship where you can explore your experiences without judgment, deepen your understanding of yourself, and develop tools that support lasting change. My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through each day and toward a life that feels more connected, balanced, and authentic.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process that begins with understanding your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I take a whole-person approach that considers how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and the mind-body connection influence your present life.

My approach integrates trauma-informed care, attachment-focused therapy, somatic interventions, and EMDR when appropriate. I aim to help you recognize patterns, better understand your emotional responses, build resilience, and develop greater self-compassion.

Therapy isn't about fixing what's broken or expecting you to have everything figured out. It's about creating space for curiosity, growth, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Our work together will be guided by your needs, with an emphasis on helping you feel more connected to yourself and empowered in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss what's been going on in your life, what you hope to work toward, and any concerns or questions you may have about the process.

You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and there's no expectation that you share more than you're ready to share.

My goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of how we might work together and whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your comfort, goals, and feedback will remain an important part of our work together.
