Great to meet you!

Kallay (pronounced Cali like California) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor based in Florida. She received her Master's degree in Counselor Education with a Concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. She has been practicing for just over two years and her primary experience has been working with adults who live with substance use combined with mental health disorders. Kallay also has experience working with adolescents who are navigating behavioral issues and is a competent crisis interventionist. Prior to working as a therapist, she worked in behavioral health for various in/outpatient treatment centers. Kallay is passionate about helping clients reach their full potential.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of "connecting the dots." My use of open-ended questions allows me to listen to what is not being said and gently guide my clients towards recognizing gaps they may not have noticed before. I like to come from a trauma informed lens.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we will spend some time with introductions while you, the client, decide if we are a good fit. Every therapist is not for every person! We will determine what brought you to therapy and develop a customized plan to work towards your long and short term goals.
