Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Kalliopi. So glad you found my page. As a therapist, I aim to always hold space rooted in empathy, connection, and respect for each client's unique experiences. I use a person-centered approach, integrating CBT and strength-based techniques in supporting adults and adolescents who may be navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

I always try to bring a warm and welcoming presence into every session, creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. My approach is deeply client-centered—guided by the belief that each person holds inherent strength and the capacity for meaningful change.

My goal is to work collaboratively, inviting clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges with curiosity rather than judgment. By gently encouraging clients to think outside the box, I encourage clients to discover new perspectives and creative solutions that may not have felt accessible before.

Resilience-building is woven I my approach. I want to support clients in identifying their inner resources, developing effective coping strategies, and cultivating confidence in their ability to navigate life’s difficulties. Through this supportive yet empowering approach, clients learn not only to manage current concerns but to grow stronger and more self-assured for the future.

What you can expect from me

Congrats on making the first move toward therapy! Our first session is typically gentle, conversational, and focused on getting to know you—not on diving into anything before you’re ready. Here’s what you can generally expect:

1. A Warm Welcome and Introduction

We will go over how sessions work, my approach to therapy, confidentiality, and your rights as a client.

2. Getting to Know You

I will invite you to share what brings you to therapy. You can share as little or as much as you are comfortable.

3. Exploring Your Goals

Together, we will talk about what you hope to change, understand, or improve. Goals can be very clear (“I want to manage anxiety better”) or still forming (“I’m not sure—things just feel heavy”). Both are completely okay!
