Great to meet you!

I hold a master’s degree in social work and an undergraduate degree in anthropology, which gives me a deep understanding of identity, culture, generational dynamics, and how systemic stressors impact individuals and families. Much of my professional experience has been working with young adults and high-risk populations navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, academic stress, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Many clients I work with struggle with low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, difficulty achieving goals, or feeling stuck in painful relational patterns. I believe every person can benefit from having a compassionate, unbiased space to process life’s challenges and build clarity, resilience, and direction.

My approach to therapy

I work primarily with individuals and take a strengths-based, culturally informed approach to therapy. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift negative thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to increase psychological flexibility and values-based action, Gottman-informed strategies to improve relationship communication, and humanistic and narrative approaches to help you reframe your story. When helpful, I draw from psychodynamic techniques to explore how past experiences influence current behaviors and emotional responses. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, relational stress, or identity concerns, therapy is tailored to support insight, emotional regulation, and practical change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a caring, supportive, and validating environment where your experiences are taken seriously. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in - whether that’s stress, mood changes, trauma history, relationship struggles, or uncertainty about your next steps in life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your goals and the patterns contributing to current challenges. My aim is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of direction and confidence in the path ahead.
