Great to meet you!
The main modalities that I use are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). CBT focuses on how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are all connected and correlated. ACT uses acceptance, mindfulness, and behavior change strategies to help with accepting life experiences as they present themselves while learning to adapt to them. I am also trained in Exposure Prevention Therapy (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Behavioral Activation (BA). I have experience counseling through stressful life events, relationship challenges, treating obsessive-compulsive disorders, addiction disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression disorders in adults and adolescents.
Along with being a therapist, I am also a wife and a mother of two, so I understand how difficult it can be to navigate life wearing many hats.
