My name is Kamenie Dookwah. I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC),

I have experience working in corrections, psychiatric emergency room, mobile crisis and Intensive outpatient programs,and private practice.I also have experience working with clients who are referred from DCP&P, Drug court, Employ Assistant Program, and probation. I

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is allowing the client to feel safe, empathy, and non judgmental.My focus derive from trainings in suicide prevention,Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, Solution- Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and addiction counseling.

What you can expect from me

My goals are to help assist the client with feeling whole again, taking control over their mind, body, and spirit, improving their daily functioning, and to finding reassurance during life stressors.
