Great to meet you!

Have you ever felt stuck in the same patterns, overwhelmed by life, or unsure how to move forward? Maybe you are struggling with anxiety, working through past experiences, or trying to repair a relationship that matters to you. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns, as well as couples experiencing communication challenges, recurring conflict, or difficulties rebuilding trust and connection. Sometimes you know something need to change but aren't sure where to begin. My approach is warm, genuine, and direct. I provide a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment while working toward a better understanding of yourself, healthier relationships, and meaningful change. You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Just come as you are and we'll work through it together.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines compassion, practical tools, and honest conversations tailored to your needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another and develop healthier ways of responding. Mindfulness can help you become more aware of your emotions and respond to challenges with greater intention. When working with trauma, I use a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety, choice, and your readiness to explore difficult experiences. I also use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based treatment for PTSD, when appropriate to help clients examine trauma-related beliefs and work through the impact of their experiences. With couples, I draw on Gottman-informed strategies and relationship-focused interventions to explore communication patterns, address conflict, and strengthen emotional connection. We'll work together to identify what is most helpful for you, with room to adjust our approach as your needs and goals evolve.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will take place through a secure video session. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, what has been challenging, and what you hope to change. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, and you'll have an opportunity to ask questions about the process. You remain in control of what you choose to share, and you don't have to discuss anything before you are ready. Together, we'll begin identifying priorities and deciding how to move forward. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and involved in your care from the beginning. Therapy us a collaborative process, and we'll work at a space that supports your needs.
