My name is Kaneisha Bailey, and I’m a proud Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S). I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Master’s in Professional Counseling. I have worked with various populations in the DFW area. I am currently working with adolescents aged 12 and up, adults, and couples.
I believe therapy is about building a good rapport and incorporating good customer service. I value growing with my clients and helping them reach their full potential. I believe in motivating my clients to identify and be the best version of themselves that they want to be. I like to have my clients guide their treatment, so they are fully vested in the outcomes they are striving for.
I typically utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients achieve their goals and change the way they approach goal-setting. Through these models, clients begin to understand how their thought patterns influence their feelings and behavior, and that focusing on solutions rather than the problem helps achieve their goals.
