Great to meet you!

My name is Kanya Glymph and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. For the past 18years, I have offered a warm, affirming therapeutic space to clients seeking support as they confront life's challenges. Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Abuse are a few of the issues my clients have brought to counseling for us to tackle together. Relationship issues and recovery from traumatic events have also been areas of focus for some of the clients I serve.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I offer an atmosphere of positive regard and respect for the client as an individual to establish a firm, trusting relationship. Once a good therapeutic rapport is established by getting to understand the client's goals, values, and challenges, the work of confronting unhelpful patterns and thinking can begin.

What you can expect from our first session

Following a session, clients can ideally experience a greater sense of self-compassion, increased self-awareness and a feeling of hope, believing that their therapeutic goals can be accomplished.
