Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who grew up in Japan and have called the U.S. home for over 32 years. With more than six years of experience, I’ve worked closely with youth and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and self-confidence challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, person-centered, and inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi—the idea that healing and beauty can grow from life’s difficult moments. Once we decide to work together, I will be honored to assist you reconnect with yourself and discover your own path toward growth and balance.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm and welcoming space where you feel safe to share your story and experiences at your own pace. In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and the goals you hope to achieve together. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and inspired by the philosophy of kintsugi—believing healing and growth can come from life’s difficult moments. Together, we’ll work toward helping you reconnect with yourself and find balance, healing, and resilience.
