Great to meet you!

My name is Kara Bell and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach in working with clients is simple. I want this to be a space where you are comfortable to be YOU! If this means relaxing on your favorite couch or grabbing your favorite snack while we meet, please feel free to do so. I graduated from The University of Southern California, although I am from Texas (born and raised). I specialize in working with teens/young adults and adults from various walks of life. This ranges from struggles with identity issues, depression, anxiety, self-harm, self-esteem, etc.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is based off of a trust-based relationship. Meaning, again, I want you to feel safe and heard when in therapy. This session is for you. Anything you need to discuss, I am here to offer insight/help you reach your treatment goal. On the other hand, there are times we just need an open ear. I can be that as well. Just let me know and I will adjust accordingly.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to have you as a client reach your treatment goals. This could mean you feeling empowered to set boundaries in relationships or simply learning coping skills to help you with stressors and triggers. Either way, this is your space, and I hope to challenge you in a way that will feel comfortable to get what you would like out of therapy.
