Great to meet you!

I am an ANCC board‐certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where I earned my PMHNP degree in 2013. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006.

I have extensive experience working with adults, children, and adolescents, treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I’m passionate about providing thoughtful, evidence‐based, and compassionate mental health care. In addition to medication management, I enjoy supporting patients through non‐pharmacologic interventions, safe and intentional deprescribing, and preventive behavioral health strategies, particularly for children and adolescents—if that’s more your vibe!

I recently relocated to the Houston area from Alabama with my husband and teenage son and am looking forward to this exciting new chapter, both professionally and personally.

My approach to therapy

I approach care as a partnership, taking time to truly listen and understand each client’s experience. I’m passionate about delivering thoughtful, evidence-based treatment in a way that feels compassionate, practical, and individualized. I want clients to feel both supported and empowered in their care.I treat depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, trauma, behavioral disorders, and personality disorders.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk through what’s been going on, your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to share your goals and ask questions. We’ll then work together to create a plan that feels comfortable and supportive for you.
