Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kara. I’m a licensed therapist, mom, wife, and business owner, and I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle life’s many roles while trying to stay afloat. Some of my own experiences and personal challenges within the areas I work in give me a deep sense of empathy and understanding for the struggles my clients face.

With a strong background in clinical psychology and counseling, I use trauma informed, evidence based approaches while keeping therapy collaborative, supportive, and human. My goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, self compassion, and resilience. Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, supported, and not alone in what you are going through.

My approach to therapy

Does it ever feel like your brain never really slows down, even when you are completely tapped out? You might bounce between bursts of motivation and total exhaustion, or feel overwhelmed when small things do not go as planned. The constant mental to do list, overstimulation, and pressure to keep everything together can leave you drained and frustrated. Over time, these struggles can chip away at confidence and fuel a loud inner critic. In therapy, we will slow the chaos, strengthen emotional regulation, and help you get unstuck so life feels steadier, calmer, and more manageable.

What you can expect from me

I support adults navigating attention and executive functioning challenges, especially during life transitions like starting a new job, returning to school, entering a relationship, or becoming a parent. Together we will unpack patterns that keep you stuck, build practical tools for focus and organization, and help you feel more grounded and in control of your emotions.

Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and genuine. You can show up exactly as you are and know you will be met with warmth and respect. We will laugh when it fits, work through difficult moments at your pace, and develop skills that help you quiet the inner critic, build confidence, and feel more connected to yourself and others.
