Hello, I’m Kara. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a M. A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I am passionate in facilitating learning through play with children, bringing awareness and support to postpartum depression and anxiety, and providing an outlet in our community for couple, family, or parenting support.
My experience ranges from individual to couple and family services utilizing an eclectic approach for individual needs with focuses on play, expressive arts, and Gottman Methods for relationships. I believe in a client centered approach tailoring treatment towards your specific goals, unique circumstances and symptoms.
My goal is to help empower individuals to take charge of their lives through identification, awareness, and action while offering a warm, empathetic, and validating environment to explore your emotional experiences.
