Great to meet you!

I am Karen Ayers. I am a graduate of Spelman College and Liberty University. I have extensive experience assisting youth, teens, adults and families identify their strengths, build on these strength and attain fulfillment in every aspect of their lives. I provide services to youth, teens, adults, and couples on issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, parenting, career, pre-marital and marital counseling.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in the effects that trauma has on individuals such as depression, anxiety, anger and self-esteem issues. It is my sincere desire that my clients can reconcile with their pasts, heal from past hurts, restore relationships and realize their full potential. Once we are healed, we can show up fully to others in our lives and stop the virus that hurt people spread when they are not healed and healthy.

What you can expect from me

You are on a journey to find wholeness and healing from things life has thrown at you. I am an empathetic listener who has a heart to hear and walk alongside people who are struggling with situations that have them stuck as a result of hurts that they have experienced in their lives. My goal is to help you uncover the greatness that is already in you, empower you to activate this greatness, and provide you tools for you to lead a life that is fulfilling and provides balance.
