Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Karen. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I genuinely love what I do.

I believe people do their best healing when they feel safe enough to be themselves. That means you won't find judgment here, and you don't have to worry about saying the "right" thing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to understand what's going on and figure out where you want to go from here.

I strive to create a space that's warm, genuine, and collaborative. Therapy can be serious, but it doesn't always have to feel heavy. We'll celebrate your wins, make room for the hard conversations, and maybe even laugh together along the way.

My approach to therapy

I think therapy works best when it feels like a conversation, not a lecture.

My job isn't to tell you who you should be. It's to help you better understand who you already are, what's getting in your way, and what changes will move you toward the life and relationships you want.

Some days that means learning practical coping skills. Some days it means making sense of old patterns or processing difficult experiences. Sometimes it means laughing together; other times, it means sitting with the hard things. Whatever brings you in, we'll figure it out together.

I use a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to each person because I don't believe there's one "right" way to heal.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know you. We'll spend time talking about what brought you here, what's been weighing on you, what's already working, and what you'd like life to look like moving forward. There's no pressure to dive into everything at once; we'll take it one step at a time, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our first session, I hope you'll leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer idea of where we're headed together.
