Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alabama with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I feel honored to work with adults 45 and older, supporting them through life transitions and the deep challenges of grief. My style is compassionate and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Impact Therapy, and person-centered counseling. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening resilience, and creating meaningful change so you can move forward with hope and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a partnership where you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. My role is to listen with compassion, provide encouragement, and guide you with tools that fit who you are. While I use approaches like CBT, ACT, and person-centered counseling, the heart of my work is helping you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm and welcoming space where you can share your story at your own pace. I work with adults navigating grief and life transitions, so my focus is on helping you feel safe, understood, and less alone in what you’re going through. We’ll talk about your goals and the kind of support you’re looking for, and I’ll begin offering gentle guidance and strategies you can use right away. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and know that you don’t have to walk this path by yourself.
