Karen earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. As an independently licensed psychotherapist, Karen provides individual counseling to children, adolescents and adults. Karen is skilled at supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, trauma, work related stress, family, and relationship stressors. Karen also has experience counseling individuals experiencing family trauma.

My approach to therapy

Karen is a neuro-divergent affirming therapist who works with adults, adolescents, children, families and couples. With a foundation firmly rooted in respect, Karen provides therapeutic support in an emotionally safe, non-judgmental capacity. Karen has strong belief that individuals, families and couples hold the expert perspective related to their own experiences.
