Great to meet you!

Welcome—I'm truly glad you're here. If you're reading this, you may be looking for answers, hoping things can feel different, or simply searching for someone who will truly listen. Whatever brought you here, I'm honored you're taking a moment to learn more about me.

I'm a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist, and I believe therapy is about more than talking through problems. It's about creating a genuine connection where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring your experiences without judgment, and discovering new ways to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Many of the people I work with have spent so much time caring for others, meeting expectations, or simply trying to get through each day that they've lost touch with their own needs. Others come feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in the same patterns, or wondering why life feels harder than it used to. Whatever your story may be, you don't have to have everything figured out before we begin.

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not an evaluation. My role isn't to tell you who you are or what you should do. Instead, I'll meet you with curiosity, compassion, and respect as we work together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels right for you.

Every person brings a unique story, which is why I take an individualized and integrative approach to therapy. I thoughtfully adapt each session to your needs, values, and goals while providing culturally responsive care in both English and Spanish. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you not only find support during difficult moments, but also reconnect with yourself, recognize your resilience, and begin creating the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be personalized because no two people—or their stories—are the same. I take an integrative approach, thoughtfully combining evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and relational approaches to meet each person's unique needs, goals, and life experiences.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's degree in Social Work from New York University, and I'm a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing psychotherapy in both English and Spanish. I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, grief, life transitions, identity concerns, and women's issues.

My approach balances practical coping strategies with deeper emotional understanding, helping clients not only manage current challenges but also gain insight into long-standing patterns, strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. Above all, I want therapy to feel collaborative, respectful, and tailored to who you are—not a one-size-fits-all experience.

In addition to psychotherapy, I also provide Immigration Psychological Evaluations and Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations. Whether you're seeking therapy or one of these specialized services, my goal is to offer thoughtful, culturally responsive care that meets your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from this experience. My goal is not only to understand your concerns, but also to get to know you as a whole person—your strengths, experiences, relationships, and what matters most to you.

There is no pressure to share everything at once or have all the answers. If you're feeling nervous or unsure where to begin, that's completely okay. I'll guide the conversation at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and together we'll create a plan that reflects your goals and needs.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together to support your growth and well-being.
