Great to meet you!

I work with first-generation Millennials and Gen-Xers who feel worn out from holding it all together—striving, caring for others, and pushing through even when it feels overwhelming. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, creating a space where you don’t have to explain or translate your identity. I help you move beyond survival mode by exploring what’s beneath the surface, building self-trust, and finding a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach is all about you—your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I use a mix of tools to help you feel better and create lasting change. This includes strategies to help shift unhelpful thoughts, manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and set goals that actually work for your life. I also use techniques like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and polyvagal approaches to help heal from past trauma. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths and find practical ways to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you don’t have to translate your experiences or justify your culture. As a first-gen Millennial or Gen-Xer of color, you may carry the weight of unresolved childhood trauma while still trying to meet the expectations of family, work, and community. In our sessions, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you—whether that means slowing down to build safety and coping skills, or gently uncovering the deeper wounds beneath the surface. My approach is collaborative and rooted in respect for your story. You’ll receive compassionate, honest feedback and support as you move toward clarity, healing, and a sense of self that feels truly your own.
