Great to meet you!

I have been in the behavioral health field for over 20 years, and I truly enjoy working with people as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change. I support children, adolescents, adults, seniors, individuals, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues, anger management, infertility, ADHD, substance use concerns, relationship stress, parenting challenges, and life transitions.

In my personal time, I enjoy cooking, entertaining, and trying different foods and restaurants. I bring that same openness and curiosity into my work with clients. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what is going on while also feeling supported in finding a direction forward. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your family, I look forward to working with you and helping you build practical tools for growth, stability, and healthier relationships.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered, solution-focused approach. Therapy starts where the client is in the present moment, and we work from there. I am direct and do not shy away from asking questions that can help you better understand what is happening, what you want to change, and what steps may help you move forward.

My approach is collaborative and requires active involvement from both of us. I draw from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Brief Dynamic Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety or depression, addressing anger, improving communication, strengthening family relationships, navigating infertility or parenting stress, or building healthier coping skills. My goal is to help you develop direction, recognize your strengths, and make progress in ways that feel realistic and useful in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

I operate in a relaxed, open environment where you can speak honestly and feel supported. In our first sessions, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been difficult recently, and what you hope will be different moving forward.

Expectations will be set at the beginning and end of each session so our work stays focused and helpful. You can expect me to be direct, solution-oriented, and collaborative while also creating room for humor, honesty, and compassion. Over time, therapy can help you better manage stress and emotions, improve relationships, strengthen parenting or family communication, build coping skills, and feel more confident in the direction you are taking.
