Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves to have a caring and supportive person in their corner. I have worked for over 20 years in a variety of social work settings, employing successful techniques to enhance lives and improve functioning. The extensive experience and knowledge I have gained enables me to provide effective strategies tailored to each individual client.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. Together we can uncover what an effective relationship means to you. I employ strategies based on each clients needs and challenges. That might involve cognitive/behavioral work to uncover harmful thought processes or a psychodynamic approach to recognize connections between past experiences and current behaviors. I might suggest strategies for clients to practice in between sessions or email an article or resource I think might be helpful.

What you can expect from me

I strive first and foremost to provide a warm and accepting environment. We might set goals to work on or focus on a more values oriented approach. I value your feedback and work to explore and provide you with any strategies or interventions you or I deem might be helpful or effective.
