Great to meet you!

My name is Karen Diaz, LMHC. I welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and provide therapy in both English and Spanish. Throughout my experience in outpatient mental health settings, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of concerns.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or self-esteem concerns, you don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Everyone's journey is different, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they work toward personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and individualized because I recognize that there is no one-size fits-all approach to treatment. I tailor each session to your unique needs by drawing from evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT, Attachment-Based Therapy, Strengths-Based, EFT, and somatic techniques.

What you can expect from me

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the work we do together. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe to be yourself, explore your thoughts and emotions, and feel supported throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we'll identify goals that are meaningful and realistic while working toward lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
