Great to meet you!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn more about my offerings. I earned my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of California Riverside. I then received my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I have many years of extensive clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. My depth of clinical experience allows me the flexibility and willingness to provide integrative and individualized care. My approach incorporates multicultural humility and evidence-based approaches to promote wellness and care. My goal is to support you in fostering sovereignty over your own wellness and I look forward to partnering with you in this meaningful first step to self-contentment.

My approach to therapy

One of my main goals as a clinician is to provide individualized care. I have a diverse and extensive range of training and experience. I am social justice oriented so my work includes advocacy to reduce stigma especially in underrepresented and marginalized communities. In addition, my approach is integrative which includes:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp)
  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

What you can expect from me

Seeking help for your mental and emotional health can be a difficult, vulnerable, yet rewarding process. I believe that you are the expert on you. I am here to simply assist in your journey by inviting a different perspective, language, and tools to effectively help you reach your mental health destination. My approach is respectful, affirming, and collaborative.
