Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey. I provide compassionate, individualized care for adolescents and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health challenges.

My approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. I believe treatment should be collaborative—not simply about prescribing medication. I take time to understand your symptoms, experiences, concerns, and goals so that we can develop a treatment plan that makes sense for you.

My approach to therapy

I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and supportive psychotherapy to complement medication management when appropriate. I also provide ADHD assessment and treatment and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals working toward recovery from substance use disorders.

My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and actively participate in decisions about your care. Whether you are beginning mental health treatment for the first time, looking for a new provider, or need help finding a medication regimen that works for you, we will work together toward greater stability, improved functioning, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit, we’ll take time to get to know you and understand what brought you to care. We’ll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past.

Together, we’ll discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options and develop an individualized plan that may include medication management, therapeutic support, lifestyle recommendations, or additional assessments when appropriate. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
