Great to meet you!

I believe that every person has a story, and that the experiences we have lived through have shaped us in meaningful ways. My role is not to define your story, but to walk alongside you as you better understand yourself, your experiences, and the patterns that have developed throughout your life.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and challenges related to self-understanding and emotional regulation. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where all emotions are welcome. I believe there is nothing you cannot bring into the therapy room: your thoughts, feelings, fears, struggles, and experiences deserve to be heard and understood.

I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and respect for your individuality. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support you in discovering your strengths, increasing self-awareness, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic modalities based on each client’s unique needs, goals, and personal experiences. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I work with you to develop a therapeutic process that honors your strengths, values, and individual journey.

I incorporate person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic approaches to help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Together, we explore how past experiences, emotional wounds, and protective patterns may continue to influence the way you think, feel, and respond in the present.

Through this work, we can begin to connect with different parts of yourself, including the younger or hurt parts that may still carry pain, fear, or unmet needs. By building awareness, compassion, and understanding toward these parts, clients can begin to heal, create new perspectives, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

I believe lasting change often comes from understanding the root of our struggles not simply focusing on behaviors or symptoms. Therapy is a process of exploring, healing, and growing while honoring your readiness and comfort level.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We will begin by getting to know you: your story, what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to change, and what feels important for us to focus on together.

I will invite you to share your experiences at a pace that feels safe for you. There is no pressure to reveal everything right away. Building trust and creating a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of the healing process.

Together, we will explore your goals, identify patterns that may be affecting your life, and begin creating a path forward that aligns with who you are and who you want to become. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling supported, respected, and with a greater sense of hope and understanding.
