Great to meet you!
I believe therapy should start with meeting you where you are, not where you think you should be. Everyone comes to therapy with a different story, different experiences, and different needs. My role is to understand where you are today and work alongside you as you move toward where you want to be.
For more than 24 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, parenting concerns, relationship and communication difficulties, and other challenges that may affect everyday life.
My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I use evidence-based strategies, but I also recognize that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Together, we will find the approaches and tools that make sense for you.
I want therapy to be a space where you can slow down, talk openly, understand yourself better, and develop the confidence and skills to handle life's challenges. There may be times when we celebrate progress and other times when we simply work through a difficult day. Both are part of the process.
Therapy is a journey, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. I'll meet you where you are, and we'll move forward together.
