Hello, my name is Karen! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I specialize in working with Anxiety, Depression, OCD, and other disorders. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, families, and adults over the past 5 years, providing care in both English and Spanish across academic, community, and healthcare settings. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida International University with a background in both Psychology and Biology.

My approach to therapy

My warm, empathatic, and collaborative approach helps individuals gain insight into their concerns while working together to strive for a better you! I utilize evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
