Karen Grant

I am dedicated social worker with a passion for helping others. I earned my undergraduate degree in social welfare from the University at Albany where I also played Division 1 Lacrosse and went on to receive my master's degree from NYU. Since 2002, I have served as a school social worker, providing crucial support to students and families. Concurrent with my school-based work, I have also maintained a private practice since 2003, further extending my reach and impact within the community.

My approach to therapy is rooted in deep respect for each individual's unique journey. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly and honestly. From this foundation, we'll work together using a strengths-based perspective, focusing on your inherent resilience and resources to navigate challenges and achieve your goals. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and I'm here to support you in discovering and harnessing your own power.
