Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Kare and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep commitment to helping teenagers and adults navigate life's most meaningful challenges.

I began my career in counseling, built a broad foundation in healthcare and leadership, and returned to clinical practice in 2024, bringing with me a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for this work.

I provide a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop insight, and build the skills needed to move forward with confidence and purpose.

If you are ready to take that first step, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and deeply client-centered. I meet each person where they are and tailor our work to their unique needs, goals, and life experiences.

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients identify and challenge the negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. I find that when people understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, real and lasting change becomes possible.

My focus is on empowering clients — not just helping them feel better in the moment, but equipping them with practical tools and coping strategies they can carry with them long after our sessions end. I believe that insight without action only goes so far, and I work alongside my clients to turn self-awareness into meaningful, sustainable growth.

Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and motivated to show up for themselves.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. There is no pressure to have everything figured out — simply showing up is enough.

We will spend our time together exploring what brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work, and what has been getting in the way. I want to understand your story in your own words.

From there, every session is designed to leave you with something tangible. You can expect to gain a deeper understanding of how your thoughts and behaviors influence the way you feel, building self-awareness that becomes a powerful foundation for change. You will also leave with practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and the everyday challenges that can feel overwhelming.

My goal is for you to walk out of every session feeling heard, clearer, and more equipped to navigate whatever life brings your way.
